About us and Contact
Monkey Puzzle is a family-run firm established in 2003. Since 2005 we've had offices here at the Eco Park in the biggest earth structure in the UK. The Eco Park suits us - as well as being one of the best working environments in Cornwall - we use paper waste to heat the building and we encourage clients to use recycled paper where possible.
We have hundreds of artist clients, and a growing commercial client base.
We like working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals, and especially like the challenge of new work and new techniques.

A Monkey Puzzle is a prehistoric tree from the Andes of Chile, characterised by its very sharp succulent spines and curving branches. The species was introduced to Britain by Archibald Menzies around 1800. In Holland and Germany it's called Ape Tree. The wood is sought after by turners who make goblets and bowls from the dense-grained wood.
Why are we Monkey Puzzle? One of the finest examples in Cornwall is in the garden of the house we lived in when starting our print business.
